Herons are aware of all that moves around them and it is difficult to get near for snaping photos. This Heron was interested in checking the area for breakfast and feeling out the day. It was a good day as he stayed and seemed to be posing for me. I feel lucky and blessed with the crossing of fellow creatures with my path. Peace! Beautiful job of capturing this heron; sometimes serene and regal, at others comical.
I watched him tonight for 15 minutes so steady in focus on the environment around him in the water. I wish I had my camera but did not want to disturb such fine tuned senses.
